Autumn begins and food festivals dedicated to the dishes of the period begin. An event not to be missed is the Sagra della Polenta, from 21 September to 13 October in the Municipality of Gavorrano in the province of Grosseto.
The Polenta Festival offers delights of the period to be enjoyed in company, with live music and entertainment for adults and children. The main protagonist of the table will obviously be the Polenta, but it will also be possible to taste other dishes of the local tradition. The food stand opens every evening at 7.00 pm with an exception for Sunday which will also open at 12.00.
